Here’s the last part for our topic abut “leaving a Legacy of Youth”. We’re done with 2 of the 3 crucial words which are “Speech” and “conduct”. Now let’s move forward into  “Purity”

Now, to be pure is quite a tall order in a dog-eat-dog world. By purity we do noy only mean physical purity, but also purity of thoughts.

We have a brain that tells our body to move. And just like that, the thoughts that enter our mind cause us to speak his way, and behave that way and react this way. We are often told to guard our heart, buy we must equally guard our mind. If there is power in the speken words, so is there power in our thoughts.

According to personaldevelopment.com,  our mind goes through three steps. First, various things stimulate our senses and create thoughts in our consious mind. Second, thoughts are sent to our subconcious mind where they become beliefs. Lastly, those beliefs are automaticaly acted upon, resulting either negative or positive behaviour. Did you get that? the beliefs that are formed in your mind, are the ones you act on. Do you read sleazy novels? Do you watch movies that cultivate violence in your thoughts? Do you listen to songs that speak of hatred? What do you feed your brain with?

You must always choose good stimuli. Watch movies that promotes Christian values,. Listen to songs that speak of love, peace and hope and friendship.

When you have pure thoughts, your actions, reactions, and intentions become positive. You become a person of essence. And when you are touched with your essence , you are able to extend this positivity to other people and are able to spread the message of love, peace, hope, friendhip, etc to others. In this mannr you set an example. And once the example progresses into a trend, then into a habit, and eventually becomes a part of other people’s system of beliefs, you would have left alegacy among them inyour own little way!

Speech, conduct, purity…. Speak no evil, do no evil and think no evil. this shall be your new challenge as a teen. You are the youngblood of today. Make  a Difference!
