Let’s say that alcohols are one of your guilty pleasures. They are something that you cannot resist or something that you can’t live without. Well, alcoholic beverages are not that bad. In fact, some of them promotes healthy benefits. You might be familiar with what so-called  “French paradox”, an observation stating that moderate alcohol drinkers are less likely to suffer from heart attacks than those of non consumers and heavy drinkers. Even beers has health benefits. It is said that they have the ability to increase the amount of good cholesterol in your bloodstream and help decrease blood clots. Red wine is also known for producing resveratrol that can be used in so many different ways.

Yes, they can give you so many health benefits but we have to take note that abusive drinking leads to alcohol addiction or alcoholism. Just like drug addiction, this condition can be worst if you failed to do immediate action about it. Lindsay Lohan, Mel Gibson, and Amy Winehouse are few of the celebrities who had suffered from alcoholism. However, these celebrities were able to overcome their addiction because of the help of some Alcohol Treatment rehabilitation centers. Here, patients will be given series of therapies and medication. We usually hit the bars in Makati every special occasion and it’s cousin Melvin who usually insist to make some bar hop and try different wines being offered by different bars. If you go to Greenbelt Makati, you’ll see huge line of bars and fine restaurants. I used to drink occasionally and if there’s a drink that i really like the most, that would be red wine. All the finest Red Wines are being serve here mostly during very special occasion like Christmas. Actually we did so bar hops last December 27 (which is my birthday) and we tasted different red wines from different resto.

Actually, we even had a short debate about Red Wines. We argued about the best red wine among all the wines that we have tried that day.

In fact, i did some research about it. There are different kind of Red wines. They are blended in so many different ways and are being made from different countries. Blush Wine is one of my favorites. It is cheap yet offers distinct aroma and taste. They are sweeter than other any red wines and it usually  served well chilled like White wine.

If you are a sweet wine drinker and if you want an Australian style wine, then i recommend you to try their Shriraz. It’s kinda spicy and peppery but it can be served in fruity style which most sweet drinkers enjoy.

If you like something light, then you must try Rioja, one of the finest red wine from Spain. What i like about this wine is that, it is light , gentle and soft. Perfect to wind up your day!

Well, drinking red wines is not actually just for celebration purposes, it also plays a big role in achieving a healthy lifestyle! Yup! Red wine produce an anti oxidant known as resveratrol which are now widely use for different medical purposes.

It is said that the resveratrol helps fight inflammation and prevent it from getting worst. It has been widely associated with many health benefits ranging from antiaging to boosting antiviral treatments. It helps to prevent blood clots and combat cancer too according to some studies.

My little brother is about to celebrate his 7^th birthday this coming September. We want it to make very special. We’ve planned every special detail of the celebration. We will hire clowns and magicians to entertain the kids and the schedule for the catering services were finally booked out.
