We usually hit the bars in Makati every special occasion and it’s cousin Melvin who usually insist to make some bar hop and try different wines being offered by different bars. Actually, we even had a short debate about Red Wines. We argued about the best red wine among all the wines that we have tried that day.

In fact, i did some research about it. There are different kind of Red wines. They are blended in so many different ways and are being made from different countries. Blush Wine is one of my favorites. It is cheap yet offers distinct aroma and taste. They are sweeter than other any red wines and it usually  served well chilled like White wine.

If you are a sweet wine drinker and if you want an Australian style wine, then i recommend you to try their Shriraz. It’s kinda spicy and peppery but it can be served in fruity style which most sweet drinkers enjoy.

If you like something light, then you must try Rioja, one of the finest red wine from Spain. What i like about this wine is that, it is light , gentle and soft. Perfect to wind up your day!

Well, drinking red wines is not actually just for celebration purposes, it also plays a big role in achieving a healthy lifestyle! Yup! Red wine produce an anti oxidant known as resveratrol which are now widely use for different medical purposes.

It is said that the resveratrol helps fight inflammation and prevent it from getting worst. It has been widely associated with many health benefits ranging from antiaging to boosting antiviral treatments. It helps to prevent blood clots and combat cancer too according to some studies.

They said that it is also an effective tool for weight loss. Well, i just don’t know how effective this supplement is since i haven’t buy resveratrol yet. Well, for the mean time, i will just hit the gym as often as i can or use my p90x resistance bands in case i failed to hit the gym because of my busy schedule!

Time really run out so fast and I just can’t imagine that I just turned 22 last week and now it’s 2011. I am not getting any younger so as my beloved parents. My mom and I were really close and I do not want to be away from her as much as possible but of course we cannot tell what will happen to the future just like what happened to my uncle, he decided to keep Grandma with him but they had experience some trouble in regards with some family issue between him and his wife. This makes me realized that maybe it would be great if I hired a nurse to monitor my mom’s health and condition but of course it would be better if I, myself as their son will take care of them personally. But for those who are busy with their work and have some family issues, I guess it would be much better if you take them to a nursing home where they will be dearly cared. They will never feel alone there too knowing that they will be living there with people with the same age. Their health will be regularly monitored too. See the difference? I gained so much weight lately and it makes me so upset. I thought going to gym regularly will keep me back in shape but it seems not to work very effectively to me. I have tried using dietary supplements and some appetite suppressant but for some reason, i still find it hard to cut off all the extra calories . I really have to lose weight and i will set it as on of my goal next year! I have to bring my shape back! I’ve been hearing about this hcg diet from some of my colleague which makes it more intriguing to me. I did some research online about this Human Chorionic Gonadotropin or simply known as hcg. It is actually a hormone produced during the pregnancy. The main function of this hormone is for progesterone level maintenance and provides produced for women during the pregnancy.
