Mom just started a new business. She’s making made to order Tamales. Tamales is actually Mexican dish and our late Grandma is the one who taught her how to make Tamales. It is almost similar to peanut butter but has grained rice added to it. The concept all started when someone asked my mom to cook 50 packs of Tamales for Christmas. Since then, she started to accept orders. Just like what she did last Christmas.. she had the most number of customers last Christmas and she even hired someone to help her in the kitchen.

And now that she’s earning i am now encouraging her to create her own bank account and save her money for her future needs. I even told her to invest some of it in some well trusted cash gifting programs so that she can earn more profits from it.

She’s now celebrating her birthday and let me grab this opportunity to greet her Happy happy birthday! We love you mom.

I am addicted into coffee since i was in high school. Even the weather is warm, i still drink coffee.
I am drinking 5-7 cups of coffee a day!

I want a strong coffee with less sugar and creamer. I make use of coffee as my daily energizer.
However, according to some doctors, too much Coffee consumption can lead to iron deficiency anemia in mothers and infants. Coffee also interferes with the absorption of supplemental iron.
Despite of this advantages of over consumption of coffee, it is still rich in antioxidants which helps preventing free radicals from causing cell damage!
I know that too much consumption of coffee is bad so i have to control my self. Tea can be an ideal alternative for coffee1 I think i must give it a try!

The common way of preparing this simple “Clam soup” is to add sili leaves to the clams after the heat has been turned off. The pot is covered for a few minutes to allow the sili leaves to wilt before serving. You can also use Malunggay leaves. Actually i prefer Malunggay because it id very healthy especially for pregnant women.

Here are the ingredients that we will be using.

1/2 kilo of fresh clams
8-10 stalks of malunggay
half a head of garlic, peeled and finely minced
a thumb-sized piece of ginger, peeled and julienned
an onion, peeled and finely sliced
2 tbsps. of vegetable cooking oil
patis for seasoning

Simply heat the cooking oil in a pot. Saute the garlic and ginger together, then add the sliced onion. Pour about 5 cups of water; season with patis. Bring to a boil. Add the clams and allow the water to boil once more. At this point, the clam shells would be open halfway. Add the malunggay leaves, cover and simmer gently for about two minutes.

They said, “never skip your meals especially the breakfast” whcih is so true. We need to eat our breakfast everyday even you’re in diet. But of course you need to choose what you eat and avoid too much cholesterol. Breakfast plays a very important role in our daily lives because it helps us boost our energy every morning and it will give us extra strength the whole day. Do not worry if you gain calories after eating your breakfast. there’s really nothing to worry as long as you know how to cut off those calories which is through exercise. Anyway, here’s my breakfast meal this morning. I got Sunny-side-up egg, hot dogs, loaf of bread, mayonnaise and slices mango. Have a great day ahead everyone. good morning!
