Is it weird for someone who grew up in the early 90′s to love music from the early 80′s? Yup! I am a certified old school music lover and I am such a big fan of Motown music. Most of the songs that i have on my iPod are considered as Motown classics. I got some songs from Stevie Wonder, The Marvelettes, The Temptations, and of course numerous tracks from the one and only , Diana Ross.

Unfortunately, i never had a chance to watch any of their concerts Live but i do wish to get at least one of those diana ross tickets and get a chance to meet her live. I don’t mind getting moody blues tickets or hall and oats concert tickets which I am also a big fan of. I am not really into the modern type of music but i did appreciate other ballads from Adele.

I just got a pair of newly released newspapers today and as usual, the politics issue dominated each of every pages again. Fortunately, there are still some space for entertainment and sports columns hehe.  I have nothing against the government but i just really don’t pay too much attention to politics because I’m sure if i will focus myself on it, it will just drive me crazy.

I love watching news to keep myself updated to the latest happenings to my country and in all over the globe but that is in exception to repeated political news. I remember, when i was in college, a professor gave us an assignment , in which we have to make a thesis  related to Election which was currently happening that time. I really don’t have any idea to write since Politics has never been my genre in writing. Well, i simply provided my own views and as a result, I FAILED! (LOL)

Anyway, i must salute any of those professional Political copywriters for having such a great gift because they can craft words that will help a certain politicians to promote a certain campaigns or candidacy (during election).

Perry Belcher is probably one of the well known Political copywriters who has been in the industry for quite a long time and no wonder why he was able to earn such good reputation in this field.

Coca Cola is notable for their special Christmas Commercials where they showcase that big trailer truck. Pepsi on the other hand has some notable funny commercials on their sleeves and not to mention their famous celebrity endorsers including Michael Jackson, Madonna and Mariah Carey. Well, they sure got big budget for having a great and expensive productions like that right? Though it makes me wonder if it is really necessary to have an enormous settings, luxurious special effects and high profile celebrities in order to promote a certain product? Well, it’s true that their influences might give a huge impact to a product but as for me, i think it doesn’t matter if it’s expensively or not as long as they were able to deliver their message properly and make their viewers understand what the product or service really is. This is what really matters to me because I am a customer myself and I know how irritating it is to watch a nonsense commercials over and over again every time you watches your favorite tv programs.

Actually, i prefer watching those commercials done through the so called fast draw animation because they are very simple and very easy to understand. We will be able to get their objective in an instant without leaving any questions after watching it. Well, i am not wondering why most companies nowadays are into such kind of advertising because of it’s effectiveness.

A business will not be that effective without the copywriters. Copywriters are the people behind their successful campaigns or ads. They are the one who establish the scripts for tv commercials, slogans for newspapers and posters and other forms of media. Remember the “I’m Lovin it” of McDonalds? Interestingly, anyone can be a copywriter as long as they have the passion to write and they are willing to improve their skills. There’s no training or any special course to acquire this field, making it possible for aspiring writers to achieve their goals easily.

Having a Car is every man’s dream but don’t you think it is quite very ambitious to aim for expansive cars like limousine or classic cars? It is very ambitious indeed not unless you were born millionaire or you are just a big time businessman. Anyway, our budget may not be enough to buy a luxury car like that but it is possible for us to rent them instead especially if we are to attend a very special event. Limo rentals are pretty in demand today most especially to events like Wedding or debuts. Yay! Finally, i was able to buy a brand new USB Controller at CdrKing yesterday. It looks exactly the same as the picture shown on the left. Anyway, i decided to buy one because i was able to download the PS1 emulator last week and a friend of mine shared some old yet cool games to me. I know you guys may find PS1 as an old school gaming device but i just can’t help but to be very excited to play those classic games that i am so addicted with when i was in grade school. I used to play RPG games most especially the first three Resident Evil franchise. Final Fantasy Series was quite a big hit back then so as other fantasy-related RPGs including the “Legend of Mana” , Legend of Lagoon, Suikoden and more”. Oh and who would forget “Lara croft as Tomb Raider, and the Crash Bandicoot games”. All of them simply bring the memories back to me that’s why i am so excited to play them again.

How about “Metal Slugs” or “Metal Gear Solid” or some other sort of soldier games? Do you remember them still?  If we are going to compare those games to the games that we play today using the more improved PS3 and XBox 360, everything is quite different indeed. In terms of the controls, the graphics and the plot line. Games today are more exciting and thrilling.

But if you are really looking for excitement, why not play these war games for real? Errr, please don’t get me wrong guys, I don’t mean to arm yourself with real guns and join the army to set yourself out in a real war. hehe. We can simply join a paintball game and feel the thrill of a real war game. In this kind of sport, you are just about to compete with other players on a big gaming field or arena. The field or gaming might compose of obstacles and bunkers that will make the game even more exciting and challenging.

But of course, even though paintball guns are safe, you might still need to wear protective gears like the 5.11 tactical pant , to protect you from any injuries. 5.11 backpack might also be necessary to place your gaming equipments and extra paintballs. The game is very exciting indeed as if you are battling out in a real war game. As a matter of fact, my brother and I were too eager to try this game. It is actually one of my goal next year! Yay! For the mean time, let me enjoy my games using the Ps1 emulator and my brand new USB controller at home.

I just watched the recently held wedding of Celebrity couple Jolina Magdangal and Mark Escueta at SNBO last Sunday. Oh well, I am not really into showbiz but the wedding is quite a worthy to watch. I have been a fan of Jolina so it is really exciting to watch her wedding. At some point, i realized how fast the time is running and I even asked myself, when am i going to experience such event in my life? When, where and how am i going to look for the right girl? I know God has plans for me and I’m sure that he lend a perfect time for me to meet that girl. Who knows, i might able to meet her in the most unexpected time and place right?

Anyway, I am not really a romantic type of guy who will be setting up an extravagant dinner or throw a special party for my girl. For me, I just want to be who I am and show her nothing but the real me. Though I might consider offering her one of those elegant-looking Tungsten Rings i saw online last night to symbolize the strength of our relationship. Giving flowers or chocolates might be an old school way of courting or amusing a girl, i believe that it is still an effective way of showing your love to her.

Anyway, before we get too cheesy in here, I just want to greet you guys an advanced Happy Holidays. See yah!

My little brother and I just hit the mall last weekend and guess what he was requesting me to buy that day. He is actually requesting me to buy him a remote control car but i just can’t give it to him right away. Well first, my budget is kinda limited when we went there and out main purpose is to shop for some grocery items and to watch the “Puss in Boots” movie but other than that, we do not have any plan to buy other stuffs. Though I promised him that I’m going to buy him one of those cool Nitrogen RC Cars this Christmas. He was like jumping out of his chair when he heard it from me. Even though i know the fact that these RC cars are quite expensive than those  typical gifts that I am giving to him every Christmas, it feels like it is such a very rewarding experience to offer him his favorite toy. As his elder brother, i want him to be happy especially this coming Holiday. However, i don’t think my present will be very surprising for him anymore since he is already expecting to receive that RC Car from me. I might give him another one too and that is something he should not know hehe . Any suggestions guys? errr but just don’t blow my cover eh!

Finally, the Training period for my new job and my new employer is almost over and next week, we will be facing the real challenge because we will be handling real calls from real customers and I am quite excited because I will finally be dealing with real clients and will assist them with their needs. My new job is indeed very exciting however the only problem that I have so far is the location. I am facing some transportation and location difficulties since my new company is located very far from my current place. It is killing me because It is so damn hard to commute everyday. I had to transfer from one terminal to another just to reach the place and it is very stressing indeed. Oh I forgot to mention that I have to stand on the bus , holding the the rail for about 40 minutes because there are no more seats left for me (i’m lucky enough if i got one but that’s really a rare thing to happen) .  In fact, i am started to feel some leg and  low back pain lately and I am quite worrying because no matter how many  times I applied the ointment and no matter how many times I take the pain reliever , the pain  keeps on coming back. I’m afraid that it might be an indication that I have the so called Sciatica. Sciatica is mainly described as leg pain, numbness or weakness that originates in the lower back and travels through the buttock and down the large sciatic nerve in the back of the leg.  Maybe I should consider consulting a specialist and undergo sciatica treatment if necessary. Health should be my top priority than anything else and I should not ignore this recurring lower back pain because it might be an indication of a serious health problem.

What is your way to keep your stress away? After the heavy work? what do you usually do? Aside from blogging and drawing, I also have another way to refresh myself and to get rid of so much stress brought to m by my work. I play toys! Okay! You can laugh at me now! I know I am kinda childish but i just can’t help it. Toys has been my fascination since i was a kid and I don’t mind playing them over and over again despite of the fact that my age is quite inappropriate for them hehe.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t play them like a child. Sometimes, i will just stare at them the whole night or rearrange them in my cabinet. In that

way, i feel, somehow, relieved. This is the reason why i didn’t stop buying toys to be added in my collection. Every Payday, i try to buy one for myself. Of course i buy nothing but a worthy one. I know some of them are quite expensive but the value and the rewarding experience it provides is simply incomparable.

And since the next payday is nearly approaching, i will definitely buy one for my collection. I am considering to buy a very cool micro rc helicopter. (left image) I saw one online and i am so eager to have one.  Just look at the details and look at the design! So cool right? I can’t wait for the next payday now woohoo. Hopefully I can have the exact model like this.
